I’ve been seeing a lot of outfits on Pinterest featuring mint jeans and was inspired to create my own version of it for us tall girls. Mint jeans are everywhere! They’ve been seen on celebrities and “normal” women and the like. Tall girls should get in on this trend too! But how do you wear mint jeans?

I noticed that most often, in my Pinterest browsing, mint jeans were paired with a sleeveless white blouse but you can practically wear anything with mint jeans. I’ve seen everything from floral peplum tops to neutral colored sweaters to a black top and white blazer.

In my outfit creation, I kept it classic with a sleeveless button down. A thin flowy one is in order to keep you cool and to counteract the tightness of the skinny jeans. I’ve had my eye on this top from Topshop for a while now. I absolutely love the crochet detail. And it is tall sized. (score! I really have to try Topshop ASAP) I added a statement necklace to go with the blouse like in the Emma Roberts look. I love this necklace. The mix of the thick gold chain with the delicate mint beads is lovely and I think it completely comple-mints (pun intended) the rest of the outfit.

For shoes, I chose some platform pumps from Nordstrom. Strappy platform pumps or wedges are the most popular shoe choice I’ve seen paired with mint jeans especially for the spring. (of course you could wear whatever shoes you want). But if you want to go for comfort, loafers are another good choice. You can try these from Barefoot Tess. Now where to find mint jeans?
