I am a horrible person. These pieces have been sitting in my bedroom for almost a month and I am just now getting to this review. Better late than never, right?
Fall is quickly approaching and it is time to start thinking about how you are going to keep warm and stay cute in the colder months. Long Tall Sally released their Fall/Winter Collection (a month ago. I know I’m sorry). I received their Check Coatigan in size Large and the BFT Jasper Combat Boots in Floral Print in a size 13 for review.
The Coatigan is long and soft. The fit is slouchy and relaxed and the material is not scratchy. The coatigan has both fashion and function with the chic print but it is actually really warm. Believe me, it was not pleasant to be outside in it in 85 degree heat. But it would be perfect for those cool Fall days. The best part; it has POCKETS! And they actually sit at the right spot. The sleeves are not too tight and are long enough.
The Jasper boots seem to run a bit small so I would order a size up when ordering. I wanted to believe that the material was just too stiff but my toes are right at the front of the shoe which does not happen for me in size 13s. They are not too bad but I don’t think I will be walking for long distances in these. I still think the material is stiff but hopefully, continued wear will loosen everything up.
I absolutely LOVE the pattern. You all should know how obsessed I am with floral print so when given the choice, of course I got these. The Jasper has a lace up detail but has a side zip for convenience. They are a bit shiny because of the water-resistant material that was used but that is what makes them perfect for keeping your feet dry in the Fall rain and Winter snowfall.
I did my best hipster impression and paired my coatigan and boots from Long Tall Sally with black leggings from Long Elegant Legs and a beige flowy top I got from Macys last weekend. The hat and earrings are from ASOS and the necklace is from Modcloth.
