*Super Late* Long Tall Sally Winter 15/16 Review

*Sigh* What can I say? I have neglected you my dear Junoesque readers and I am a horrible person. I have a reason, I promise.

Long Tall Sally sent me a few pieces from their winter collection a few months ago and I am just now writing a review. I am not sure if I have mentioned here before, but I am focusing on making my graphic design business a success as well as creating and selling art on the side. I have been blessed to have a lot of projects/art sales the last couple of months and unfortunately that has caused blogging to take a backseat. If only there were enough hours in a day… No worries, I have no plans to shut down the blog or anything. I want to keep all the past content here to help any tall woman in need you happens to find it. Now on to review. Please forgive me for the delay.

I got the Chunky Cable Sweater in a M and the Biker Paneled Legging Jeans in a 14. These are really nice pieces especially the jeans. IMG_3617_revThe sweater is nice and big. It is naturally an oversized fit and I am glad I got the Medium instead of the Large, otherwise it would have been too big. It has nice long sleeves and they are not too tight. The sweater itself is rather long. It is basically a tunic, long enough to cover everything. The sweater is a great color with a nice knit pattern. One thing I was curious about is why the zipper and only on one side.

IMG_3625revI absolutely love the pants. They are sleek and sophisticated. The fit is great. There is a slight amount of stretch so they are pretty comfortable. Not too constricting or anything. There are no belt loops but they don’t ride down too much. (Wear a longer top or a camisole underneath and you should be fine.) I like that the zipper is in the back instead of the front. It creates nice clean lines. You just have to remember that the zipper is the back when putting them on. lol

I love the great little details on these pants like the exposed zipper on the back, the leather panel down the sides. Cool and chic.  The leather “biker” detail down the side is a nice touch. One drawback is that there are no pockets. But I think that pockets would disrupt the clean smooth lines of the pants so I won’t deduct any points. The pants hit right above my ankles.

I have worn this outfit out once to a casual Christmas dinner at my church. It was really cold that night so I paired it with some knee high boots I got from Barefoot Tess a couple of years ago.

Bonus Outfit! I wanted to see what the pants would look like with pumps so I popped on my Fioni brand pumps from Payless and a simple top I got on sale at Macys.

So that’s it for the review. I can’t promise when my next post will be. If you miss me, you can always follow me and my art on my Instagram.

See you next time,
