I really appreciated how a lot of retailers moved their sales online for Black Friday. It shows a grasp of the times and consumer’s shopping behavior. But it seems I may have jumped the gun by buying online on Friday because I would have gotten a deeper discount if I had waited until Monday. But then my size would have been sold out so…oh well. C’est la vie.

I started out my online shopping excursion at Old Navy. They had 15% off online plus they offer free shipping. Until 12/1, you can get 30% if you have an Old Navy, Banana Republic or Gap card. And if you don’t have a card, you can still get 20% off.

I saw this sweater in a another color on a co-worker that week before and I had to get it. I got the sweater in the colors Green Goddess and Coral Tropics. This is a really nice sweater. It is soft and very comfortable. The sleeves are not quite long enough but that’s fine, I just scrunch them like pictured. I ordered it in a size L and it fits perfectly. Old Navy has this sweater in various colors and patterns (other than the ones above) in sizes XS-XXL . I am thinking about getting the Navy polka dot one as well.

I also got this Cable Knit sweater in Orange (they are sold out of that color but they have many others.)  I ordered a Tall Large. I love how it is long in the sleeves and torso but the only drawback is that it is a little too big, mostly in the chest, which causes there to be too much fabric in the armpits. Otherwise, I like it.

This dress hits right at my knee and the sleeves hit right at my wrist. It is made of a pretty thick material so I wasn’t too cold wearing this in the frigid East Coast weather. It looks great with black leggings and boots. It also comes in black and sizes run from 2-14.

I took a look back at my haul and I realize I have a serious problem; I am addicted to polka dots. I might have to join Polka Dot Lovers Anonymous.

Anyway, this dress is on sale and currently has limited sizes left in both colors (cream and pink). It has a cutout back which I didn’t realize until after I bought it, but it’s not a problem. It is made of a soft stretch cotton and hits below my knee. To be appropriate for the winter weather, I would wear this dress with a blazer, tights and boots.
