Time again for Pinterest Picks of the week. I was pinning like a crazy person this week (to kinda make up for the late one last week). A lot of fashion finds for us Junoesque chicks, some diy projects and some style inspiration. So here we go.
I love this outfit worn by Sarah Jessica Parker. It is casual and easy yet sophisticated. I like the way she put the colors together. I like the busy aztec print of the blazer paired with the basic pants and top. Love it.
These shoes are hot. The color of these pointed toe pumps is bright and eye-catching. The orange Hallee is now out of stock in the size 12, but the blacks are in stock.
I was looking through a Monroe and Main catalog and I saw these lovely ladies. The Black and yellow go up to a size 12 and is also available in wide widths. I’ve been looking for some ankle strap ballerina flats and these are perfect.
When I saw this dress I literally gasped. I LOVE this dress! I love the color combo of the yellow, cream and gray. I love the chevron stripe and I love the the flowiness and drapiness of it. It is 60″ long which is about ankle length on me. It is a bit expensive for me at about $160 but I still want it. I think I am going to have to wait for a sale because I MUST HAVE THIS DRESS!
Yes, I’m pinning more wedges. I’m obsessed. These are the Zebra Zag from Nordstrom. They look so comfy and funky. I like them a lot! They go up to a size 12.
This would be my take two on the high-waisted skirt. The first one was a no-go. But maybe this would work? It is currently in stock only in sizes XS, 2XL-4XL, but if you’re not one of those sizes you can sign up to be notified when the skirt is back in stock.
Alloy is really stepping their game up. I first saw this when Pretty Tall Style posted it on her FB page. This dress is banging AND it is super long at 63″. I have a couple of extended length dresses from Alloy and trust me they are super long. In flats, my dresses drag on the floor, so much so that the hems get filthy. In 5″ heels my extended length dresses just skim the ground.
This is another item from Alloy. It’s so artsy and funky I just had to buy it. It is on its way to me right now.I keep browsing eShakti, and say that I am going to try them then forget about it, then rediscover them and say I am going to buy something then forget about. Well I finally bought a dress and am so excited. If you don’t know about eShakti, they are an online clothing store that offers customizable fashions. Take a dress like the one above. You can completely customize it to your size and liking for an extra fee of only $7.50. You can put in your own body measurements or you can choose a size. (eShakti carries sizes 0-36W.) You can even put in your desired hem length. Do you want straps on this dress? You can do that too. They even ask for your height when ordering your item. I haven’t gotten my dress yet but I know that eShakti is a godsend for Junoesque ladies like me. And I just had to order this time because right now they are having a site-wide discount of 30% off and if you are a new customer and register with them you get a coupon for $30 off. So I got this dress, with straps and calf length for a little over $30. Can you say Ah-may-zing? It will take at least 2 weeks to get here but I am sure it will be worth it. I am looking forward to telling you all how this works out.
A no-sew pillow cover. Perfect when you want change your decor up a bit. You don’t have to buy new pillows, just buy a couple yards of fabric and wrap it. So clever!
So, that’s it for this week’s picks. As always, stay tuned for next week’s and you can always pin with me at Pinterest.com/TheJunoesque.
Happy Shopping,
