The Look
I’ve got another outfit recreation for you. This is another find from Pinterest. I call it the Prepster look. The sweater with the collared shirt screams preppy to me but something about the combination of pieces has a funky, artsy hipster vibe to it. Check out my recreation below.
My version
I really liked the graphic sweater of the original but could not find one like it. I finally managed to find one from Banana Republic. If you look close, there is an anchor shape stitched into the knit of the sweater. It is a subtle touch which I like but I think I would prefer if the anchor was a darker color. It is not tall sized but the sweater has 3/4 length sleeves so you don’t have to worry about camouflaging the fact that the sleeves are too short.
The skirt is from one of my favorite spots, ASOS. It is 27.5″ long and is a lovely rich blue color. I chose a blue skirt because of the one in the picture but if you prefer a black one, try this one from eShakti. You can customize it to the length you want. And I could not find any shoes in our size in that particular shade and style pictured, but I decided on the new Miracl from Nine West. But also found these ones from 6pm that also could have worked.
I did not include tights in the look because it is HOT where I am but if I were to choose tights I would choose a pair from my favorite brand, Hue. I love Hue tights because they are long enough and fit very well.
