June Favorites

I’m back with the Favorites posts! According to the survey, lot of people liked the Favorites posts so I thought I should continue with them. Since I haven’t done one in a while, I figured I would combine all my favorites from April to June.

ASOS Full Midi Skirt in Gray Marl. I first talked about this skirt in my first Birthday Haul post. This skirt is so comfortable; it is like wearing sweatpants but cuter. Perfect for days when I don’t want to think too much about what to wear for the day. I love it. I’ve worn it countless times.

Boyfriend Roll Up shorts in Navy. I also mentioned these in my Birthday haul post back in April. I wear them all the time. I think they can be dressed up or down. They are boyfriend style, so they are not too tight and the material is not too heavy. Bottom line: they are perfect.

My new workout gear. I wrote recently about my desire to get healthy and lose a little weight. I think that it helps with motivation if you like what you are wearing and look cute while you are sweaty and tired. So I got new activewear to aid in my journey. I got everything. From tanks, to compression leggings, sports bras. And see the shoes? Those are new too. Full posts on my fitness journey and wardrobe are here and here.

IMG_0986Women’s Laced Oxford from Payless And I went to a Payless a couple of weeks ago and I saw these and had to have them. What can I say, I can’t walk into a Payless without buying something. This is a bit of an exaggeration, but you get my point. I love the color of these. I love how simple they are. I also like how comfortable they are. They are really flexible and great to walk in. And the best part, they have a great versatility; they go with everything. Dresses, shorts, skinny jeans, everything. These oxfords go up to a size 13 and are on sale for $24.99.

ASOS Curve Midi Kimono. The kimono is a huge trend now with all kinds of patterns and colors, and I chose one in what color? You guessed it: gray. I love the color gray, so sue me. I originally bought this to be a beach cover up but since I haven’t gone to the beach yet, I worn it other times. It is a thin, very light jersey-like material and it is so darn cute. I ordered mine in a 14.  As you can see, it is a relaxed fit; nice and slouchy. I especially love how the hem gathers and curves in the back.

Unfortunately, the only size left is a 14. So if you want it, snatch it up now.

ASOS Curve Midi Sundress in Dahlia Print. The color is extraordinary and the floral pattern is gorgeous. It is what immediately drew me to the skirt. The flowers almost look like are drawn on and you all should know how much I am a sucker for illustration. I ordered mine in 14. It is a little big in the waist and slightly too big in the chest but that is very easily remedied with a wide belt (I got mine from Modcloth). This dress is perfect for the summer because it is made of a light gauzy material that catches the breeze so beautifully. I have gotten tons of compliments when I wear it. Sizes are running out fast.

Women’s Denim Vest from Old Navy. Denim vests are popular now and I figured I’d get in on the trend. Vests can be worn with shorts and jeans but also dresses and skirts. I just think it looks really cool. I got mine in a size XL. Unfortunately, this particular one is almost sold out.

Candy Blast Mania I quit Candy Crush Saga a while ago after 300+ levels but I can still quench my candy matching addiction with Candy Blast Mania. A coworker put me on to it a couple of months ago, and I have been playing it ever since.

Kevin LeVar: Your Destiny. This song has helped me through some tough times. It is so easy just to give up, but your purpose, God’s plan for your life, your destiny is WAY too important just to quit now. You can download it from iTunes here.

Until next time,
