Wow! It’s been 4 months since my last Pinterest Picks post! If you’re new to the blog, my pinterest picks are my favorite finds in my Pinterest journeys (I’m obsessed with Pinterest). These pins can range from anything from some tall fashion finds that I lucked up on, art inspiration, recipes, hair crushes, anything. Clicking on the pic will take you to the pin.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I created an illustration of a giraffe not too long ago. It was suggested that I put the print on a shirt so I decided to join Society6. You can upload your art and they put it on anything you’d like. I talked to them before I uploaded to ask if their shirts would be long enough for people like us and they said yes. But I am not going to fully trust until I try the shirt myself. But I also have prints of the artwork plus clocks, pillows, iphone cases and etc. Go to my shop on Society6 for a close look.
I along with everyone else it seems is obsessed with Solange’s wedding photos. Namely, the one above. I definitely want to draw it.
I love this dress from ASOS. The peplum, the shape, the color. Gorgeous! It goes up to a size 14. Unfortunately, ASOS stop listing the lengths of each garment, but the model is 5’9″ and is wearing a size 4.
I am a sucker for floral print. And this skirt is lovely. It goes up to a size 12.
This dress is so cute! It is from the ASOS Curve collection and it comes in 3 colors and goes up to a size 28.
If you haven’t heard already, I also opened an Etsy shop. Above is one of the first pieces I added to the shop. I saw all these gorgeous fashion illustrations on Pinterest, so I decided to add my own to the mix.
I saw this dress and knew I had to have it. I recently ordered it and I can’t wait for it to get here. I love the colors and how it looks like it is African print. I customized to my measurements and I added short sleeves.
I saw this on pinterest and I liked it so much, it inspired to find out how to do it. That is how I learned to do the geometric portrait of the giraffe.I am flirting with the idea of locking my hair up. I am not sure if I will actually going to do it but the thought of not having to detangle my hair anymore sounds like heaven, but I still have to keep in mind that locs have their own upkeep rules. And also the fact that I get bored with my hair easily and might miss my loose hair. I will probably try faux locs first (Naptural85 has a great tutorial) before I commit. We’ll see…
I hoped you like my picks. This is only a fraction of what I pin. Don’t miss anything! Pin with me. Follow my boards at Pinterest.com/TheJunoesque.
Until next time,
