Springtime Vintage: Taylor Swift Inspired Look

I saw this picture of Taylor Swift on Pinterest (what else is new right?) and I thought this outfit was so adorable, I just had to try and recreate it!

Admittedly, I am not a big fan of Taylor’s music but I love her style. I am definitely going to be recreating more of her outfits in the future.

As the name suggests, this outfit would be great for spring and it reminds me of a different era like the 40’s or 50’s. This outfit is very simple and feminine which I like.

I have to admit recreating this outfit was a little difficult. The toughest part was finding the skirt. It was hard finding a skirt long enough with the a-line hem and floral pattern. But I ended up finding this one from Loft. It is not the same color, but it has the same feel, I think It is 29″ long which is past the knee on me.

I didn’t like the shoes so I chose some Steve Madden Flats from Barefoot Tess. But if you are not a flats person, I thought that these wedges would look nice with the outfit as well. And I added the earrings from Modcloth for a touch of whimsy.

So how’d I do? The links to all the pieces are below.

Steve Madden Tailor Flat in Dusty Pink. Barefoot Tess. size 11-14. $49.

Retro Rose Earrings in Dusty Rose. Modcloth. $9.99
