Here is the birthday edition of my Pinterest Picks. There is nothing particularly special about this week’s pins, it’s just my birthday so…yeah…on to the pins!

So floral pants (floral anything really) are on trend right now and here is an outfit featuring them that I would actually wear! This is a gorgeous outfit.This color of shirt and shoes tie in well with the pants but it doesn’t overpower or compete with the pattern. I am definitely going to try and recreate this look for us tall chicks.

I first saw this dress on Laura’s post on her fabulous All the Tall Things blog and I immediately loved it. It has the geometric tribal print that is big now and I am loving. And it looks like it would be long enough for us. She herself is 6ft and it is floor length on her. I have heard good things about Next’s tall line but I have not tried them yet. I wonder if I would run into issues since they are UK based and I live in the US. It is a gorgeous dress though…

I really wish I could draw something like this. I think it is a mix of complacency, laziness, and artist’s block that I don’t draw more often. I keep telling myself that I need to draw more and then I don’t. But I have an idea for a project that I am excited about so maybe I will finally pick up the pencil again.

This is just one of the sweaters I just got in my most recent massive haul. I thought I should feature the pieces I get into actual outfit posts instead of haul posts. (Let me know if you would like to see one or the other or both.) This tall sweater is from Old Navy. It looks plain gray from far away but closeup you can see tiny neon pink, yellow and orange dots of fabric. It is soft and comfy and long in the torso (I am sick of too short tops). I love this shirt.

Like I’ve said in past Pinterest Picks, Pinterest is a great place for Natural hair inspiration and tutorials. Don’t get me wrong I love my Naptural85 and MahoganyCurls vids but sometimes I want to see vloggers with hair that looks more like mine so this was a helpful list. It’s a good start in helping me find my next favorite vlogger.

Another floral outfit. This outfit would be great for this “in between” weather we are having here.
