Here are this week’s Pinterest Picks! Enjoy!
I pinned another diy project (that I have yet to do). I had to pin this one. I love do-it-yourself projects and I love the nautical aspect, plus it incorporates the ombre trend which I am obsessed with. I say of every pin that I just have to try it but I really do have to try this one.
Jill Scott has hair like mine! I love to see naturalistas especially celebrities with coarser hair textures embrace their kinks when all the mainstream media seems to show is curly naturals. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with having curly hair or anything like that I just wish they show all the textures black hair has. Go on Jilly from Philly!
This lovely dress is from Height Goddess. It comes in sizes 4-16 and TWO lengths 67″ and 71″. It is super sexy but doesn’t go too far. Beautiful.
I’ve been really mulling over whether I want to dip my toes into the oxford trend. But I have to say these are cute. These lovelies are from Torrid. They go up to a 13 and are wide width. And for $28.50 I just might be willing to try it.
This is for all my Junoesque ladies who unlike me, dislike super high heels. These kitten heels, also from Torrid, are only 2″ high and are a beautiful coral suede. These also go up to a 13 and are medium width but they are cut wider than the normal medium width.
I was actually put on to this dress from Tanasha from Pretty Tall Style, who pinned it first. It’s so beautiful and delicate. I especially love the sheer neck and side panels which adds a different texture and modernity to the dress. Must have!
I pinned a lot of illustrations this week as I’ve been drawing a lot lately (yes I’m finally drawing again) and needed some inspiration for different drawing styles. Like I’ve said many times before, Pinterest is a treasure trove for inspiration of all kinds.
A couple of years ago, I swore that I would never eat sushi. Raw fish? Never! Then I went to a Mexican themed party at work and they served ceviche and I loved it! I even got seconds. I am still a little wary about sushi but I will eat ceviche again a minute. And if I can make it myself? Score!
Bananas and peanut butter together is heaven to me. I’ve been eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches since before I could remember. I love peanut butter period. So add this blissful combination to a donut? Mind Blown.
Another natural pic with a coarser, fluffier texture. And it is simply gorgeous. I have to keep going if I want my hair to grow and one day be like hers.
So, that’s it for this week’s picks. As always, stay tuned for next week’s and you can always pin with me at Pinterest.com/TheJunoesque.
Happy Shopping,
