My 10 favorite Nail Polishes + Storage

For the past couple of years, I have painted my own nails and as such I have amassed quite a collection. My stash is purely drugstore; CVS, Rite Aid and a couple are drugstore.com finds. Out of my many polishes which are my 10 favorites (bet you’re asking)? Well I am happy to tell you. In no particular order (from left):

nailpolishEssie Mezmerized: A lovely royal blue color. I love blues. I own a number of blue polishes.
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Gray by Gray: This color is a dark blue-gray. It looks like the color of rocks and stones. Great color.
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Fairy Teal: Teal is one of my favorite colors. So it stands to reason that I would own a teal nail polish. This is a beautiful color. It looks like the sea after a storm. (The Princess Bride, anyone?)
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Royal Blush: After years of just blue and gray nail polishes. I thought I’d branch out when I bought this and next polish. I wanted to get lighter, more girly colors. This color is a very light, pinky color. Very pretty.
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Peach of Cake: I love this one. I have been obsessed with coral lately and I finally got my hands on a coral polish. The name is Peach of Cake but I feel like it is a little too pink to be called peach but I love it anyway.
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color Wet Cement: If you haven’t noticed I LOVE gray, more specifically cool toned grays and this one fits the bill.
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color Blue Me Away: I love this color. It is like a neon sea blue color. It is so bright and cheery.
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color Green With Envy: This is another neon color. It is a lime green. I must have been really adventurous when I bought this because I usually didn’t go for colors like this. But it has been a go-to ever since. Especially on my toes.
Orly Ancient Jade: This is a creamy, light green color. It reminds me of jade but I think true jade is slightly darker. It is like a lighter version of the Fairy Teal color.
Maybelline Express Finish 50 second Nail color Berry Fancy: This is actually one of the first polishes I bought. Since then I have become obsessed with dark, vampy polishes. I have a number of them. This is a true berry color. It is a deep magenta that looks great with my skin tone.

L to R: Berry Fancy, Ancient Jade, Green with Envy, Blue Me Away, Wet Cement, Mezmerized, Gray by Gray, Fairy Teal, Royal Blush, Peach of Cake.

As you can see, Sally Hansen is my go to brand for nail polishes. I own other brands like Rimmel, WetnWild and Sinful Colors but my favorite colors just happen to be Sally Hansen. Also, all my favs are all glitter free. I do own one or two but the glitter is very subtle. I am admittedly not really a glitter kind of girl.

Now onto my nail polish storage. I only recently put all my polishes in one place and let me tell you when I did, it was long overdue. I had nail polishes strewn all over my nightstand and to finally have them all in one place was much needed. I picked up this bin from Target for less than $5. It is translucent so I can see what is in it and the stripes makes it cute. It is deep enough for my larger polishes and is big enough where I can fit a large amount of polishes in it. As it stands, I have enough room in it for more polishes. Sweet!

Until next time,

Elayna
