Pinterest Picks- 9/14/13

Welcome back Ladies! Since I didn’t post a Picks last week I decided to combine the pins from the past 2 weeks. Hope you enjoy!

I got a new iPhone for the first time and have just now discovered the joy of custom iPhone cases. I am pretty sure I am going to be a rabid collector. I saw this one and HAD to have it. I am a HUGE fan of the Sherlock BBC series (and Benedict Cumberbatch) and I got this as a testament of my undying love.

Another new boot from Barefoot Tess. It looks like a British WWII soldier’s boot which I Iike. It is a bit on the pricey side at $215 but it is made out of real leather and comes in black and brown up to a size 13.

I am definitely on board the stripe and floral trend and this skirt is a great way to do it. It goes up to a size L; the XL is sold out but you can get notified when it is back in stock.

This is not normally something I would pick out for myself, but I really like it. I really am getting adventurous in my old age. It comes in Berry and Black and up to a size 14.

The color, shape and draping of this skirt is gorgeous and is a must have in my collection. It goes up to a size 12; the 14 is currently sold out.If you know me personally, you would know that I am a big fan of Hayao Miyazaki and his movies, ( I own a number of them on DVD) my favorites being Howl’s Moving Castle and Spirited Away. So when I saw this on Pinterest, I just about freaked. I don’t know who the artist is, but this is amazing. I love it so much, I am using it as the wallpaper on my phone.

I just think Amber Rose is so pretty. I so admire her confidence in her buzz cut. She shows that you don’t have to have long hair to be considered feminine and beautiful. Also I love this outfit she has on. I think it flatters her and I think she just looks better with more clothes on.

This reminds me of the India bootie Barefoot Tess had last year. This one is slightly different though. It has ankle flaps and a zipper on the side. It comes in brown and black and goes up to a size 13.I love her hairstyle and the fact that her hair texture is like mine! I am so looking forward to when my hair is longer.
