It’s been a long time since I’ve done an outfit recreation so I figured I should do one. I’ve been wanting to recreate this look from Victoria Beckham that I saw on Pinterest for a while now and I finally got around to doing it. I really like this look; it is great for the Fall. Warm enough to wear in the cold weather, but you still look good.
When searching for the pieces, you know I had to go to my favorite spots first and they didn’t disappoint. For the shoes, I chose some high heeled boots from Payless. These are closed toe not open toed like in the photo. I opted not to try and find open toed boots because I don’t know if you are like me, but I am not about to wear open toe shoes when it’s cold outside. The skirt is from, lets say it with me, ASOS. You all have heard me rave about them for a year now but it is well deserved. They are my go to place for skirts and dresses that are not only long enough for my long limbs but also trendy and look good on me.
The sweater was the most difficult find. I managed to find one similar to it but unfortunately it is not tall sized so most likely the sleeves will not be long enough. The upside is you can just wear it with the sleeves rolled up like VB (or like we do with all the other sweaters in our closets that are not long enough). If you would rather have a tall-sized sweater or if you’re not into the print, you can try the Cable Knit Pullover from The Gap. I couldn’t find a Peter Pan collar blouse like the one pictured, so I opted for a plain button up instead.
I hope you liked this VB inspired look. Where to find each piece is listed below.
