Hey there! I am so sorry that it has been so long since my last post. I would say that my birthday was so out of control that I have spent the last 2 weeks resting but that would be a straight lie. My birthday was pretty low-key, thanks for asking. Actually, I’ve been busy with some graphic design projects. (To that end, do you need a graphic designer? You can contact me for a quote here. Shameless plug alert! lol) But I’m back with some of my pinterest picks from the last month. As always you can pin with me, because I actually pin more than I post about what I pin, at Pinterest.com/TheJunoesque.
My co-workers and I love hitting up the local fro-yo shop down the street from the office. I probably don’t need to know how to make it home; I eat enough frozen yogurt as it is. At least this way I can know what is actually going in it.
The jumpsuit is a big trend now and I’m glad us tall girls finally have a few options out there so that we can rock the trend too. I love the sequin detail on the shoulder of this jumpsuit from ASOS’s Tall section. And the cream color of it is beautiful. Admittedly, I am not sure how well it will fit for us super tall ladies, (the model is 5’9.5″) but it goes up to a size 12 if you want to be adventurous and give it a try.
Cute outfit worn by Jamie Chung.
Alloy has a number of extended length dresses in their Tall section; this chevron one being one of them. It is currently on backorder (along with the black stripe version) until May. However, the blue version of the dress is not. It comes in sizes XS–3XL. Be careful when choosing a size though, because Alloy does junior sizing and their dresses tend to be a bit clingy. An XL from any where else would actually be a little too big on me, but from Alloy is a little too form fitting for my liking. Just FYI.
This is another one of Alloy’s extended length dresses. It comes in 3 colors including the blue above. Sizes go up to 3XL. My warning still stands.
I am in need of some new jeans and I am liking these from Alloy. I recently ordered them and not only are they on backorder, but I am not sure that I got the right size. I guess we’ll see when they get here. If they don’t fit me, at least I can give them to my Mom. These jeans come in 4 different washes including the Medium wash above. They go up to 37″ inseam and size 25.
Love this floral print jacket from The Gap. It is tall-sized and it goes up to a size XL.
I hate ironing. That is all I have to say.
I couldn’t control myself any longer and decided to try out Zenni Optical for regular prescription eyeglasses just to see how they compare with Glassesshop.com (See! it’s for research. I am providing a service. lol) What I have seen so far is that Zenni Optical has a much larger selection of frames to choose from and they seem to be slightly cheaper as well. I will post an update when my new glasses come in!
Another cute outfit to try and recreate. Love it.
I saw this recipe on Kelis’s new cooking show and it looks pretty good (Her show is pretty good as well). At least I have the recipe whenever I want to give it a try. *shrugs*Love the pleats and soft colors of this gorgeous skirt. It looks so lightweight and flowy. Perfect for the sweltering summer D.C. is sure to be getting very soon. I write that without a trace of malice. I welcome the heat. I would much rather take the heat over the bitter cold we’ve had.
That’s it for now. Maybe I’ll have another post before the weekend is out? I have a number of haul posts to do as well as my April Favorites. We’ll see if that actually happens. No promises.
TTFN,
Elayna
